Honeycomb core density is a key basic parameter for composite sandwich structures. It is calculated by cell wall thickness, hexagonal cell size and raw material density, widely used in lightweight structural design.

Calculation Formula

ρ_core = (2 × t_wall × ρ_material) / (√3 × L_cell)
